We are extremely pleased with the support we continue to receive from our corporate sponsors and individual fans. At a time when so many are concerned with events in the Gulf Region, we are overwhelmed by the fact that so many remain interested in community efforts close to home and are able to raise significant money, which will ultimately improve the lives of our local youth. The D.C. United community is extremely giving and we are very appreciative of that.

United Drives collects thousands of items throughout the course of the season to benefit various non-profit organizations, including our very own United for D.C., and directly impacts thousands of youth and families throughout the District and the overall region.

United is thrilled to be able to come out to Payne Elementary to kick off the start of our fourth season of United Reads. I think our players and staff look forward to these visits as much as the kids do. We all are avid readers, and to be able to spread that message along with providing new books to the kids is a blessing we embrace.
