Each honoree receives a plaque and mementos from the high school. Often our legislators give a proclamation. To be honored by the place that raised you, your school, is quite special. - Linda Croushore

When the consortium began, we asked the community to talk to us about what they viewed as important. They told us children, the future and staying in touch with people who no longer made McKeesport their home was important.
