When he finished up with the Twins and even after he was done, he was always down on the field, so I had a chance to talk to him every time we came into town. Once the bases were loaded, you simply try to pick out a pitch, something up that you can get into the outfield to try to get a run across, but nothing more than that. He was throwing the ball too well to try to do anything else. I was fortunate to work the count well enough to get a walk.
