These guys won 17 games; that's no small feat especially as inexperienced as they were. It was an accomplishment and yet we had some disappointment. But I am excited about the future. I think we have a good basketball team brewing. I really do.

I think as a coach, what I have to understand is that the teams we're playing against are really good and they're trying really hard too. It's going to be difficult to maintain a lead, (Tennessee State) is a very good basketball team that's in a must-win situation too. These last games are all going to be very difficult. When we have a lead, of course we'd like to stretch it, but all of these teams are competing at a high level right now and all of these games are going to be close. We're just happy to hold on and win whenever we can.
