With the new NCAA qualifier guidelines, every match is important. Right now, we are on the bubble in getting into the NCAA Tournament, so we need to come out and shoot well this weekend. We just need to worry about ourselves and not worry about what other teams are doing. If we come out and shoot the way we can, we will be fine. We need to erase some bad early-season numbers.

This has been one of the craziest weeks I have ever experienced as a coach. I had kidney stones last weekend so I missed two days of practice, so the kids were on their own. Then Chris Schneider (Fort Mill, S.C.) gets pneumonia early this week, and is in closed quarters for the entire week basically. To have our third-best score of the year is a remarkable achievement. They have shown great perseverance all year and to have a performance like this when it really counts is a testament to their character and commitment. - Bill Kelley

It's always difficult in the first match back from break and having not shot as a team for a couple of months. We have been back for about 10 days training, but traditionally we haven't shot as well the first time out as we typically do. - Bill Kelley

I have seen lots of maturity from this group. There is no panic in them and they know what they need to do. This week, we posted our counting team on Monday and let people challenge their spots. The counting team rose to the occasion and felt the pressure and performed very well. Hopefully this weekend's scores will back that up. - Bill Kelley
