It obviously makes a statement about status and the ability to afford it but I think it's also a spontaneous, celebratory thing.

We had offers from major labels in the past but we skipped over them because we knew it was too early. We wanted to get the most out of every phase, like putting out a record on an independent label and playing small clubs, then doing bigger records and bigger tours. I think that just made us better prepared for this whole experience.
