I went home, sewed the handbag and loved it. I purchased several different handbag patterns and over time I took the best features from each and put together a pattern of my own. I embellished the bags with different threads, beads, fringes and fun handles.

I take along the fabric, handles, beads and trims. The ladies design their own handbags and I go home and sew. I've found it works great as a mother-daughter party, too. I make smaller versions of the handbags for the kids. They love designing their very own handbags and are pretty good at it.
