I don't disagree with that. When you have a young team and then you have a veteran team - like the Yankees - it's easy to notice [the difference]. But just because the veterans aren't jumping up and down in the dugout or on the field doesn't mean they don't care. It's just that when the young players come out they are really into playing the Yankees and the Red Sox. They want to show they are worthy. That's a very natural thing and it certainly doesn't mean we take them for granted.

The only thing I've said to him is: 'You've already established who you are. There's nothing for you to do that has to be any different from that. The way I judge people is not necessarily where they go eat dinner or where they build a house, it's just how they play between the lines.
