For any pitcher, first time out there, you don't know what to expect, you're just trying to go out there and try and get a good feel for the mound, because it's been awhile since we've done it, especially in game atmosphere.

I think I was feeling a bit for my pitches in the first two innings. I started letting a couple pitches go a little bit later, and it helped out a lot. I was able to throw a couple harder than normal. It makes your offspeed stuff more effective. I don't know if my arm loosened up or what.
