I'm not going to lie - it wasn't fun. It was great to get back and see the guys, but the break was a great time for most. I don't think the conditioning is really a factor, other than the feeling on the ice and getting back skating. But that will come back quickly.

(The injuries) were costly. But in dealing with the injuries it brings you closer together and you become tighter. Adversity builds character, and every team gets tested in some way. I think we did a pretty good job dealing with them.
