It was a tough preseason, first losing Scott then having to wait 32 days before playing our first game and finding out we'd be playing 18 games instead of 20. But that's the way it goes, I guess. We're finally playing now and that's a good thing.

I pulled (Carvalho) up from the junior varsity the previous game. He did a great job, he spark-plugged us the last two minutes of the first half. Then in the second half he deserved to start. He caused all kinds of havoc out there.
