Yesterday, for example, there was a woman there who didn`t want to abandon her pets and had them all in a shopping cart... She finally collapsed from exhaustion and was crying out when she was picked up and taken to a hospital leaving her animals on the street. Why can`t we just cross the border into St. Bernard Parish and collect those animals?
