At first, I had to talk my wife into having this at the farm. I think now everybody looks forward to it. We're a lot more relaxed now about the festival. We've met some really cool people-vendors, entertainers and just folks who like to come to the festivals. A lot of people have been here since the beginning. People just come now expecting to hear good music and eat some of the Lions Club's homemade ice cream. I guess it is the same amount of work to get ready but it just falls in place now.

We've had church and civic groups, like the Lion's Club, that have found the festival helpful either as a fund raiser or for public service to the community. Several churches have given away free cold water at the festival as an outreach effort. - Duane Hart
