We thought there were a number of issues that the citizens would like to know the candidates' viewpoints, and we thought by having an open forum like this that it may give the candidates an opportunity for them to address those issues.

It is important for the public to take advantage of this opportunity because the city council and their viewpoints are what will govern the city for the next couple years, ...
